Mr. Brewster is Chief Deputy Counsel for San Diego County. He is member of American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) and currently serves on its Board of Directors. Mr. Brewster has been a lawyer since 1983 and has over 33 civil trials (sole counsel) for County Counsel. Mr. Brewster has handled significant civil rights cases. Mr. Brewster’s experience includes Assistant Attorney General, State of Iowa (1983), Navy JAG (1984-87), insurance defense 1987-88 (Ault, Midlam & Deuprey) with Criminal trial work with JAG. He received his J.D. with Honors from Drake Law School and his Undergraduate degree in Journalism (News/Editorial) from Drake University). Mr. Brewster also holds a Masters in Communication from Drake University.
