JAMEE JORDAN PATTERSON is a Supervising Deputy Attorney General in the Land Law Section, Public Rights Division of the California Attorney General's Office. Ms. Patterson is an expert in environmental land use. She is the Attorney General's litigation liaison to the California Coastal Commission and attends the Commission's monthly meetings to provide advice on litigation matters. She represents the Commission and other state agencies, including the California State Lands Commission, in litigation in both state and federal court and through all levels of appeal. Ms. Patterson has litigated numerous cases resulting in published opinions on issues including offshore oil and gas development, public beach access, antiquated subdivisions, and coastal development. She was twice recognized by California Lawyer Magazine as a lawyer of the year for her environmental law expertise. She received her B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles, and her J.D. from Loyola Law School.
